The meeting:
The meeting was held at Vicki and Dennis Anderson's home in Midland and the following 14 members were present:
Karen & Rod Andrews, Rich & Connie Yerman
Dennis & Vicki Anderson, JC & Tanya Csutoras, Dave and Sue Rudzki
Jerry & Marie Lubbers, Dave Salverson, Eric Krentz
Treasurers Report:
This month’s balance is inflated because it includes monies from the banquet attendees and some members have paid their 2008 dues early. At this time we have $ 951.69. The 2008 dues are due on January 1st, but many members are paying early so Jerry can deposit it before he leaves for Texas.
Wednesday night dinners:
Second and Forth Wednesdays of the month

Regular Club Meetings:
We noticed that there were no meetings thru the
winter, whether it was bad weather or everyone missed the “sparkling
personalities” of our missing officers, we will concentrate on meetings from
May thru November. Rod Andrews mentioned that he thought the meetings in
restaurants do not work very well, because it‘s hard to get a separate room,
and the noise can be a hamper to hearing things. There was a discussion on
the merits of holding meetings on the third Sunday in members homes, as in
the past. We asked for volunteers to hold the meetings, and those dates and
places will be listed on the
"Regular Meetings" page
Wednesday Morning Retiree Breakfast: Every Wednesday morning the retirees meet at Pat & Jerry’s Restaurant in Auburn at 9am. Everyone is welcome. There are times when the destination is changed, so be sure to ask a retiree about the current destination, if you plan to come.
Rides:
Sue Roznowski asked that we present an idea for discussion. She proposes that we move Wednesday Night dinners to 6pm instead of 6:30pm. We had a small member representation, but we discussed it and it was mentioned that some of the members who live far away would not be able to make the earlier time. We voted to keep the dinners at 6:30pm.
